The psychic and intuitive sense. The intuitive insight that transcends the five body senses and the limitations of time and space. Extra sensory perception.

7: Crown Chakra: ( The Sahasrara Chakra......Lotus of a thousand petals)
The Spiritual Urge and the desire to experience the wholeness of life and the universe. Inspiration and revelation from the higher self. Self realization and enlightenment. Receptor for incoming cosmic rays. Union with the divine. Unites higher self with body/mind. Stimulates inspiration, higher consciousness, wisdom and understanding.

Chakra Balancing
To Balance the whole Chakra system place a Crystal of the appropriate colour on each area. It is a good idea to place a grounding stone, either Smokey Quartz or Clear Quartz between the feet to act as an anchor.
When laying the Crystals start from the Base Chakra upwards. When removing the Crystals, start at the Crown Chakra downwards.
1: The Base Chakra is situated at the Base of the Spine.
2: The Naval or Sacral Chakra is the Naval area on the Lower Abdomen.
3: The Solar Plexus Chakra is found between the Naval and the Ribcage.
4: The Heart Chakra is the Centre of the Chest.
5: The Throat Chakra is at the Base of the Throat, at the Top of the
Breastbone.
6: The Brow or Third Eye Chakra is at the Centre of the Forehead.
7: The Crown Chakra rests on just above the Top of the Head.
Always cleanse your Crystals before and after use. This can be done by placing the Crystals in a Metal Free Container of Mineral Water with the slightest pinch of Sea Salt (NOT table or cooking salt). Or by holding the Crystals under Running Water for a few seconds.
There are other ways to cleanse Crystals. They can be buried in the Earth for a Full Cycle of the Moon. They can be cleansed through the smoke of Incense. The most Magickal way to cleanse Crystals would be to hold them in a running Mountain Stream! That would be my dream way! but not practical if one lives in the centre of a large town.
When it comes to charging Crystals this can be done by leaving them out for the Six Nights of the cycle of the Full Moon or by leaving them in the light of the Sun. If you live in a block of flats one could just leave them on the window sill.
